Handcross South prospect in the Vaila T36 Sandstone objective, a channelised slope fan sequence with stratigraphic pinch-out and strong amplitude, AVO and CSEM anomalies. The well drilled to 5,845 ft before being junked. Well 204/18b-2A drilled the T36 Sandstone at 9,112 ft, it had 621.5 ft net sandstone over a 804 ft gross interval (net/gross 0.773) and an average porosity of 23.1%. Sands were water-wet with no shows. A secondary target, the T35 "AA" Sands at 9,916 ft to TD was also water-wet.
