Vertical appraisal on the Spaniards East prospect with Galley (Upper Claymore) Sandstone objective in a stratigraphic pinch-out trap. Well encountered Sgiath (Stroma) and Rattray in a displaced slump block within the Kimmeridge Clay from 9,886–10,162 ft. The Upper Claymore Sandstone (J71/J72) at 10,461–10,485 ft and a J66b Sandstone at 10,590–10,645 ft both showed good reservoir quality, with porosity averaging 26.1% in 52.5 ft of net sandstone. No shows or saturation was seen.
