Appraisal well on Winchelsea, a large, low-relief fault block structure at base Permian, with no TWT closure. Probable Lower Ketch 2 (Westphalian C) and Murdoch Sandstone (basal Westphalian B) objectives at c. 12,300–13,800 ft TVDSS. Well deviated SE by c. 9,000 ft with final TD 18,137 ft (13,884 ft TVDSS). Reported results ambiguous; gas discovery reported, but Wintershall describing well as "unsuccessful". May indicate non-commercial gas.
