Completed Well 3/15a-15

Exploration well on the Fettercairn prospect; towards the crest of a N-S trending structural high, with truncation of Brent Sandstone below Cretaceous claystones. Objective of 3/15-15 not released, but is thought to be Statfjord in a N-S trending horst block south and up-dip of the 3/15-6 well. The well was temporarily suspended whilst the rig went to the Elgin Field to drill a relief well but was subsequently re-entered and completed.
