Rhyl exploration. An E-W trending anticline with dip-closure to the north, south and west, and bounded by a WNW-ESE trending extensional fault to the east. The Lower Triassic Ormskirk Sandstone, the sole objective, was drilled at 4,469 ft (4,341 ft TVDSS) and comprised a massive gas bearing sandstone with 197 ft net pay. GWC was expected to be between 4,562 and 4,679 ft TVDSS. On test the maximum flow rate was 15.24 mmcfgpd (56/64” choke).
