Released Well 15/26b-9

Kildare/Palace HPHT exploration. Joint objectives in Ettrick and Tweedsmuir sandstones in down-thrown fault block trap down dip of 15/26b-5 (1988), which tested 2,616 bopd high H2S oil from fault truncated Ettrick Sandstone. Well 15/26b-9 proved only 20 ft sand in Ettrick at 11,871 ft TVDSS and Tweedsmuir (Palace prospect) sands absent. Oil encountered in Sgiath Sandstone at 13,313 ft TVDSS (132 ft gross; 91 net pay). Tested 2,600 bopd (42 deg API).
