New Plays in an Undeveloped Basin

The St. George's Channel Basin is essentially a large half-graben which in the axxis aontains over 25,000 ft of Mesozoic sediments underlain by Carboniferous sediments which may exceed 10,000 ft in thickness. For the purposes of this report, the SGCB is taken to include the Cardigan Bay Basin and that part of the Central Irish Sea Basin that lies in UK waters.
