This well is the third appraisal sidetrack to be deviated tight-holed from appraisal well 29/5b-F10R, drilled to evaluate one of several downthrown terrace structures developed along the northern flank of the West Franklin Field. West Franklin is a south-dipping tilted fault block with Ultra-HPHT gas/condensate in Upper Jurassic (Oxfordian) shoreface sandstones of the Fulmar Formation from 18,500 ft to a gas-water contact at approximately 19,950 ft TVDSS. The 29/5b-F10X well was suspended tight on 8th April and was then re-entered and permanently abandoned.
