Unexplored Oil Potential in Structural/Stratigraphic Traps

Open blocks 21/8c, 21/9c, 21/10c, 21/14a and 21/15b, located on the northern flank of the West Forties Basin, include several stratigraphic and down-thrown fault block prospects, developed in a series of Upper Jurassic embayments into the West Forties High. The Fulmar Sandstone provides the reservoir objective at depths of 10,000–12,500 ft, with total potential P50 oil in place of 470 mmbbl.
