Deviated South West Clair appraisal to test Lower Cretaceous and Devono-Carboniferous Clair Group sandstones on NE-SW trending fault block. Turonian and Lower Cretaceous/possible Upper Jurassic sandstones and limestones from 7,382 ft, with 22–24° API oil in friable sands (core) and oil saturation from logs in Albian at 7,583 ft and (?) Upper Jurassic sandstone at 7,735 ft. Uppermost Clair Sandstone at 7,817 ft (6,862 ft TVDSS) was oil-bearing with probable oil-water contact between 6,929–6,962 ft TVDSS.
