Storr prospect. Joint objectives in Nansen and Beryl sandstones on a westerly dipping fault block subcropping the base Cretaceous unconformity, which is tilted to the east. The main hole, deviated ESE tested the Nansen horst block (which requires an intra-formation shale top-seal), was junked at 9,138 ft, but sidetrack 9/19b-19Z was drilled successfully to the Nansen objective. Well 9/19b-19Y was deviated WNW to the up-dip Beryl objective, with reservoir subcropping and sealed below the base Cretaceous. Both wells were abandoned tight but subsequently both were reported to be discoveries.
