Exploration well deviated ESE on Jock Scott prospect, with Volgian (Piper equivalent) target in stratigraphic pinch-out on relay ramp along Jurassic fault terrace at approximately 8,530–10,500 ft. Well planned at inclination of 30° to drill Upper Jurassic and Middle Jurassic secondary target at optimum location. Piper target marked by strong seismic marker with attributes supporting reservoir development. Marker proved to be base Tor limestone, with thick Upper Cretaceous and top Jurassic 1,158 ft deep to prognosis (10,194 ft TVDSS). Well drilled Kimmeridge Clay to TD with no sand development.
