Released Well 205/26b-12

Exploration well on Lincoln prospect deviated SSW through Lewisian basement reservoir to intersect four WNW-ESE trending seismically defined fracture zones at an inclination of 35°. Thin Lower Cretaceous, with sandstone stringers overlay Lewisian at 5,436 ft TVDSS, with patchy oil shows in fractured basement down to approximate spill point but good wet gas readings extended down to planned TD. Well was deepened, with oil saturation indicated down to 7,408 ft TVDSS. Gas data and wireline logs showed fracture zone objectives were encountered close to prognosis. No pressure data or samples were acquired.
