Well and geological sidetrack targeting Lower Eocene Frigg injectite sands on Gamma/Losgann. Second of a two-well exploration programme evaluating separate injectite complexes on the northern and western parts of a broad high over a Balder sediment lobe with proven oil and gas in UK and Norwegian sector wells. Original hole re-spudded and deviated c. 13,070 ft to NW to injectite wing off western flank of the Gamma closure. Sidetrack 9/19b-29Z, deviated NNW with offset of c. 10,130 ft and TD 6,116 ft TVDSS, was probable high-angle hole through injectite wings on undrilled northern culmination over Gamma/Losgann. All wells abandoned tight, but Losgann reported as an oil discovery.
