Released Well 15/15-2

Vertical exploration well on the Pip prospect, with a Piper Sandstone main objective on a down-faulted structure located on the northern flank of a structural embayment into the Fladen Ground Spur. Well encountered a 121 ft gross (117 ft net) good-quality Piper Sandstone objective (Upper Jurassic to basal Cretaceous) at 7,694 ft and 115 ft gross (99 ft net) Pentland sandstone. Both were water-wet with no oil/gas shows and the well was abandoned dry.
